China Changing 4 Times Faster Than US, England
Taking the GDP growth of a country and equating it directly to ‘change’ is a little bit of a stretch, but there is no question that China is in fact changing quite rapidly. According to this blurb translated out of Modern Weekly, it’s ‘changing’ 4x as fast as the US or England (again, though, they’re just using GDP growth as the measure - and change is about a lot more than such growth):
Four Years of Change in America = One Year of Change in China
How fast is China changing? The answer is this: One China year is equivalent to four American years or four English years. In other words, life in China is changing more than four times faster than in America or England. From the perspective of economic growth, one year in small Malawi in south east Africa is the same as seven hours in China.
