If you guessed Chery Automobile, you’re probably right. The signs are obvious. Tons of new Chery models on the road in China, Wall Street Journal in depth articles detailing how they are set out to conquer the world, whole car sourcing deals from Chrysler, and constant reminders at work if you deal with the Chinese automotive industry.
Despite past warnings against safety issues with Chery on this site, Chery is posed to do better than any other Chinese car maker, at least for now.
Chery’s Shift To Quantity and Quality
Working with some of the largest automotive parts (systems) suppliers in the world (as customers), I have learned that Chery is sourcing more and more of various car systems to reliable, high quality companies. They have also picked up the pace of development, and seem to be planning for a very large number of new models.
They seem to be moving much faster than any car company that preceded them.
