Great Wall of China

Christmas in China (not this year!)

I am going back to the States for the first time in two and a half years!

Yes, just a little bit excited about all of this. I have seen family in the interim, but this is the first time to be back home in quite a long time.

Christmas in China < Christmas in America

I’ll only be there for two weeks, but Christmas in China is nothing at all like Christmas in America!

I have spent two Christmas’ in China. One was in Shenzhen with friends (depressing after we had dinner and went our separate ways), and one was in Yangshuo, the tourist town in Guanxi, Southern China, with my girlfriend.

Yangshuo was nice, and I was very glad to be there with that special someone, but I missed home very much.

This year there will be no Christmas in China for one young man! =)
