Hi CBS - It definitely is a good challenge. I loved the process initially too, even characters in a twisted kind of way (spending hours at a time to drill them into memory can be a strangely relaxing experience)

Hi Cristina - sorry for the late reply, didn't catch this. Chinese is a challenge, and it is worth it in that sense for sure =) Good luck!

Hi!
I totally relate to what you write in this post. I too started learning chinese because I just loved the process of learning a new language..and I too ran into the frustration of never having it perfect. I’m not even close though…but it seems to me it’s a language with which you will never be done ‘learning’..it goes on and on… but then again..it’s a great language to try and master!
I’ll make sure to visit your blog more often!
Cheers!

Hi! I like your honesty lol. I'm a spanish speaker, and I'm still learning English. However I would like to learn Chinese after that. I'm interested in chinese culture. Also, I'm majoring in business, and I love "challenge." How bad is that? Pretty much eh?
